According to this village people, they are agreed that this village was discovered by a person named Shams ud Din in the age of Empire Jehangir while some of its residents said that Shamsher Khan built this village in the age of Empire Sultan Mehmood Ghaznavi. Majority of people from this village use to go for shopping or other purposes to other parts of country by using link road to Kamra Cantt (G.T. Road).
