On the way back to Hazro from Qibla Bandhi village at Dhoke Seeri...

Some pictures were captured while on the way back to Hazro from Qibla Bandhi village at Dhoke Seri area, located on opposite side of CBG Canal in Barazai village area. Majority of Qibla Bandhi and Jhamra village area use this link road for going to Hazro which is a shortcut way as compare to other routes. Mostly people of this Dhoke are formers and some are government servants although few people are settled in foreign countries. Village life of Chhachh valley is really joyful, healthy & full of hospitality, people get together from evening to late night for sharing there day’s experience & to discuss other current hot topics. Picture shows the construction of a newly made Marvelous Masjid...

"Ever changing and progressing Chhachh"Picture shows the construction of a newly made Marvelous Masjid, situated on a link road to connect Barazai village from Dhoke Seeri (Eastern Barazai) in tehsil Hazro. The model of this Jamia Masjid was designed in United Kingdom by Javi Brothers which is offers a great source of inspiration to the viewers. Dhoke Seeri is a little Dhoke having two Masjids and majority of people of this area are farmers. People of Qibla Bandhi, Jhamra, Phaal and Jabbi use this shortcut link road to connect Hazro via Dhoke Seeri, Barazai, Behboodi, Nartopa and Toll-Tax. This part of Barazai village is situated on the opposite side of Ghazi Barotha Canal (GBC). (05 Pictures),

Some pictures were captured on the bridge of Ghazi Barotha Canal (GBC), crossing between Barazai and Kotkay village on eastern side of Barazai village in tehsil Hazro. This Ghazi-Barotha Hydropower Project is a 1,450 Megawatt run-of-the-river hydropower project on the Indus River in Pakistan. Total length of this Canal is 63 Kms which is constructed with high material. In summer season boys from adjoining villages enjoy swimming in this flat dangerous Canal which always cause plenty of deaths although the management of GBC always announcing not to dive & swim in this dangerous Canal. {10 Pictures},

Picture was captured of sun sitting on the bridge of Ghazi Barotha Canal (G.B.C.) in the area of Barazai / Kotkay boarders in tehsil Hazro. GBC diverts the water of Indus River into a 52 km concrete-lined channel, the longest in world, which is fed to a 1,450 MW powerhouse in Barotha. Ghazi Barotha Dam is the latest (2002) hydroelectric Power Station in Pakistan

G.B.C. which is crossed by Motorway near BD / BZ vills.



Picture was captured in front of G.B.C. Canal which is crossed by Pakistan Motorway near Behboodi / Barazai villages. The rush of heavy & light vehicles can be scene in this picture which are going back to their destinations in NWFP from Annual Tablighi Ijtimah Raiwind. Approx, more then a thousand people from tehsil Hazro attend this Ijtimah.
