Some pictures were captured yesterday while on visit to Chhachh valley’s western ending point, on the bank of Indus River, the famous heritage Railway Station of Attock Khourd famous as “Attkan Na Station”. The
construction of this awesome Railway Station & Solid Iron Bridge
was completed in 1881 which is still in quiet well condition and has a good charm for visitors especially on weekend days.
British Government built this dual type bridge (Train on Top, Vehicles
inside) was used for vehicles as well till to 1981, after completing of new bridge near Attock Fort / Khair Abad by ministry of Highway Authority, this bridge is only used by Trains. Chhachhi people settled in foreign countries must visit this historical point which has lot of amazing views in one place. {17 Pictures},

Picture was captured on the bank of Indus River at Attock Khourd, located on the western ending point of Punjab Province in tehsil Hazro. Some boats can be seen in the picture which is used by visitors to enjoy Indus River’s beauty. Government of Punjab is now working on a project under tourism department which will facilitate visitors of Chair Left and picnic spot from Punjab to Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa provinces. Attock Khourd is one of the top listed tourism points of tehsil Hazro and people from Attock, Nowshera, Swabi districts visit this historical, religious, beautiful point on weekends. {03 Pictures}

Raho, Mashair, China & Malla are famous local types of fishes which are very popular in the people of Attock, Swabi and Nowshera Districts. Attock Khourd area has more then 12 Fish restaurants which provide their best services to pilgrims of Ziarat Hazrat Jee Baba and visitors to Attock Fort & Indus River bank area. Awesome view of Attock Khourd Railway Station from eastern side (Dakhnair Rd,). Attock Khourd Railway Station & Railway Bridge (Purana Attaka’an wala Pul) was built in 1881 by British Government. This bridge is constructed by Iron, Steel & Concrete which is still in quite good & stable position and only Train & Bikes can use this double type Bridge. The charm and attraction of this Railway Station is decreased as the number of visitors have decreased due to the stoppage of almost all local passengers' trains from Rawalpindi to Peshawar. {06 Pictures},

Few Friends from Hazro city are busy in roasting mutton on coal hearth at Attock Khourd. This picture is captured on the third day of Eid ul Azha near the Shrine of Hazrat Jee Baba (Attock Khourd) at some distance on Indus River bank. Almost about 15000 people from District Attock, Swabi & Nowshera come to this beautiful place to enjoy and celebrate Eid with their dear ones. Majority of the people come along with the meat of Qurbani and enjoy it with friends and family. It seems as if there is some sort of big fun fare is going on there. {06 Pictures},

Picture was captured on the south western end of Chhachh valley named (Old Attock Bridge). This bridge was constructed in 1881 by British Government which is still functioning for all kinds Trains running between Punjab & Khyber Pukhtoonkhowa provinces. The lower side of this historical bridge is closed for heavy vehicles and only Bikes can go cross Indus River by this bridge. The security of this historical Bridge is extremely tight since 2005 to protect it from any sort of terrorist activity.

Main entrance gate to Hazrat Sayyed Sakhi Sultan Saddar Ud Din (R.A.)s famous as “Attock Wala Baba Shrine”, located between Attock Khourd & Attock Khord Toll-Plaza, on G.T . Road in Tehsil Hazro. The majority of these precious personalities were died before the independence of Pakistan who came here in Chhachh valley for preaching of Islam in those days. By dint of that great job people remember them on annual Uras & on other weekend days to visit their shrines for Dua e Maghfirat etc, especially from Attock, Nowshera & Peshawar districts.

A Cargo Train is just crossed the most beautiful Railway Station of Punjab province, “Attock Khourd Railway Station” located on south western angel of Chhachh valley. All Trains for Peshawar, Dargai and Mardan use this track to connect Khyber Pukhtoonkhowa province with Punjab by using this track & bridge which is manufactured in 1881 by British Government.

Hazrat Sheikh Mohammad Yahya famous as Hazrat Jee Baba Sahib Shrine, Attock Khourd
Picture was captured on the Grave-Tile of Ghuos e Zaman Hazrat Sheikh Mohammad Yahya famous as Hazrat Jee Baba Sahib Shrine, located at Attock Khourd in tehsil Hazro. He was born in 1622 & died in 1719 on the day of Jumma tul Widah. Mostly people visit their shrine on Thursday, Friday & Sunday. Designing on Walls (Mina-Kari) work was completed in 2005 by specialists of district Multan.

On the order of Chief Minister Punjab province, Tourism Corporation of Pakistan will be developing a mega project which will have Picnic Points, Cable Chair Lift, Motels, Restaurants & Parks. This project will be modified in few years.

Last sun sitting view of October 2010 was captured on the bank of Darya E Sindh (Indus River) at Attock Khourd. Trees & mountains which are seen in the picture are in the area of District Nowshera, (Khyber Pukhtoonkhowa). Indus River touches Chhachh valley by eastern side in the area of Sheikh Chor village near Jalalia & leave the same valley under the bridge of Attock Khourd Railway Station (Built 1881).
