Over the years, potato has become an important crop for both farmers and consumers in Chhachh valley. It is the fourth most important crop by volume of production in Tehsil Hazro. It is high yielding, having a high nutritive value and gives high returns to local farmers. Although Important Potato Production Districts in Pakistan are Okarha, Lahore, Dir, Mansehra etc, but the land of Chhachh valley produces two types of Potatoes in A grade quality.
